My thoughts so far? Super impressed. The lipstick and lipgloss are now my favourite nude lip combo - perfect for everyday, and the texture of the gloss is by far one of the best I have tried. No more hair-to-lip disasters, and no more sticky lips - this is the perfect combination of cream and gloss - with enough coverage to be able to wear alone. The lipstick is SO creamy, it feels like your favourite lip balm, but better.
I also don't tend to typically go for blusher shades that are not peachy toned, so this one was quite a surprising love for me. It's a plum shade, but surprisingly it is so flattering on my skin tone. It is an absolute dream to wear - not in any way chalky or powdery, this feels like velvet, and the softest touch has the perfect amount of colour.
If I had to pick one product I didn't love as much, it would probably be the eye-shadow quad. I was so excited to test the colours, as I am a huge fan of golds, and browns, but in terms of pigmentation and colour pay off, I have definitely used better eye-shadows. I have to press a little harder than I would normally need to with my brushes to get enough colour. The colours are still beautiful, and the shadows are nice, but maybe not worth the price tag, in comparison to the fantastic value for money you get with a MAC or Make-up Geek eye-shadow.
Have you got any hero Chanel products? Let me know in the comments!
